From basketry to art education in environmental contexts

The thesis focuses on basket weaving in art education in an environmental context. In the theoretical part, the diploma thesis deals with nature and its origins for art education. It clarifies the concepts of environment, ecology and contemporary art in relation to traditional crafts. It also deals with the relationship between craft and applied art. The goal of the theoretical part is to deeply understand these concepts and contexts. It also represents the artwork of contemporary artists and free-form artists who deal with the theme of nature. The theoretical basis is based on authors own artwork, capturing the observation of nature and the growth of willow rods with as little human intervention as possible. The result of the author's work is the Willow Diary, which records this observation of the willow rods in nature. Authors own artwork is inspired by existing artwork in nature with natural materials. The didactic part of the thesis contains art tasks based on the theoretical part of the thesis. Tasks are focused on environmental education, spatial creation, contact with nature and natural materials. The aim of the artistic tasks is to raise pupils' interest for nature and to familiarize them with the techniques of basket weaving while introducing them to the themes of environmental education....
Possibilities of three-dimensional creation in kindergarten

The aim of the thesis is to introduce and test in practice a variety of options of threedimensional crafts on the topic "Fauna" in kindergarten. The theoretical part deals with the contribution of spatial art, its influence on the development of imagination,thinking and overall personality of the child. Social learning is of great importance, as children cooperate during the activities. The work introduces different kinds of crafts in terms of used material and the environment in which they are created. The practical part focuses on creating three-dimensional crafts of animals. The topic of fauna is very popular with children and they can be extremely enthusiastic about the activities. Individual craft projects are described and documented in detail, as well as evaluated according to the interests and abilities of children and according to educational strategies.
Connection between puppet animation and sculpture in art education

Bachelor thesis Connection between sculpture and puppet animation in art education Jana Rybová, DiS., April 2018 ABSTRACT The bachelor's thesis deals with a topic of an untraditional animated puppet film and its links to a three-dimensional creation. The theoretical section of the thesis looks into the particularity of both art forms and looks for their mutual components. Diverse techniques and attitudes are presented on several examples regarding the work of acclaimed creators. In the practical section we track the progress of the author film from the production of untraditional puppets, sketches and a storyboard to the final animation. In the didactic section, the thesis focuses on a relationship between a child and a three-dimensional creation and it is enriched with a series of projects within a leisure activity.
Between Theatre and Installation Art

In this bachelor thesis, I am going to deal with the idea of an independent scenography in a theatre performance. I am going to reflect this subject trhough a second graduate performance in season 2016/2017 skončí to ústa in Disk theatre. In the introduction I am going to present experimental poetry as a main point of departure for ther performance. This is going to include basic principles of the visual, phonic, concrete and conceptual poetry as well as some of the particular methodologies of the chosen authors – Jiří Valoch, Ladislav Novák, Ladislav Nebeský and Zdeněk Barborka. I am going to describe the way we have integrated those principles into the performance. In the second part I am going to introduce the use an everyday object in the theatre. In skončí to ústa performance, we deal with the everyday object as something between theatre property and ready made object. I am going to analyse similarities and differences between use of the everyday object in theatre, museum and gallery. In the following part I am going to reflect, how we have included principles of the installation art into the performance. Those principles are focusing, decentralization and role of the spectator. Afterwards, I am going to describe Ervin Wurm´s artwork, who I consider as an artist who combines object, sculpture and installation art in his work. I am going to deal especially with his One Minute Sculptures, that represent a very important source of inspiration for the performance skončí to ústa. In the final part I am going to analyse principles of deconstruction, absence and words-objects in the artwork of Ján Mančuška, who is another inspirative point od departure for the performance. In the conclusion, I am going to summarize the parallels and the differences between the theatre and the visual arts as well as the conclusions that I can apply on my future work.

The aim of this paper is cognition of eastern art feng-shui, selecting specific part and its subsequent putting into practise at Elementary Art School. It deals with "Theory of the five elements", which includes fire, earth, metal, water and wood. The theoretical part describes the theory of feng-shui and short history of eastern art, foundations of art education and different kinds of art creation, mainly spatial and action creation. The practise part is a note of teaching at Elementary Art School and presentation this topic into the school practise.
Therapeutical aspects in three dimensional works by teenagers

This bachelor thesis describes the spatial aspects of therapeutic work and its contribution to art therapy. It focuses on artistic expression during adolescence and the earlier period, the art of crisis, for which the recourse is the use of three-dimensional work. This thesis is composed of two parts, theoretical and practical. The practical part includes a proposal to create a spatial overlap with therapeutic techniques, to enhance existing traditional spatial techniques used in art therapy. A part of this section is the practical realisation techniques, methods of work and subsequent analysis of resulting artifacts, including their visual presentation.
ARTISTIG SPATIAL CREATIONS IN KINDERGARTEN FOCUSED TO USING VARIOUS MATERIALS.

The thesis is concerned in the spatial formation of children in kindergarten with the use of diverse types of available materials. There is created and certified list of twenty creative ideas and techniques from a variety of materials suitable for pre-school children?s creation. The theoretical part consists of five chapters. The children?s creativity is characterized there its ways of using material?s development, sensory perception and cognition of children, shapes discovery, playing with space and methods of spatial children?s thinking development. Furthermore, the dividing of basic materials suitable for art work and the last chapter is a description of the methodology and preparation of activities for work with children. The practical part consists of twenty creative ideas list, which I invented and verified in practice. It includes the class characteristic and a detailed description of the ideas. These descriptions specify materials used, labor processes, motivational activities that preceded the work of art, drawings or photographic documentation.
